BioPharm (BPE) Tubing

Strictly speaking, BioPharm (BPE) Tubing is sanitary grade. The manufacturing process is the same, and it is made from the same stainless grades. The difference is in the ASME BPE (American Society of Mechanical Engineers: Bioprocessing Equipment) ID polish standards.

With a polished ID to finishes of 20 μ-in. Ra (SF1 / PL) or 15 μ-in. Ra (SF4 / PM), ASTM A270 BPE Tubing is required in the pharmaceutical, medical, and chemical industries for sterile processing.
